and his chairmanship of the 50th Anniversary Gala of KCRPCA. Past President Connie Waldrop also reminded us that KCRPCA had held the national Porsche Parade as host at the Lake of
the Ozarks. Stan Thorne spoke about his experience as Zone
10 Representative and how we looked so good when compared to other clubs. Sadly, “T” Jones was a little melancholy about his years as president, as he served through the entire Covid era in which
our activities were so restricted. Even Covid couldn’t keep T from having a great influence on our club as he kept some of our best traditions alive. Past President Tim Bubniak was present and we celebrated his years which saw the addition of new events and membership growth along with sustaining our traditions.
The dinner was the usual superb effort by Grand Street Cafe. There were many nice choices and they were very tasty. After dinner, all the presidents had our pictures taken and signed the new state of the art racing helmet.
I feel privileged to be there with my fellow presidents and my friends that I have enjoyed so much in our great and growing club. Many thanks to all who attended.
