business owners of Rosanna Square were unsure of when a new con- struction project would start, so they could not let us use the lot. Fortunately Stonegate Motor Plaza stepped in and offered their facility as an alternative. On Sunday Morning, September 30th the German Car Clubs descended on
South Johnson County (KS) with a some of the finest examples of Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen automobiles. Hundreds of owners brought out their finest and the members of KCRPCA didn’t disappoint. From classic 356s to Cayennes, we covered the product range.
Unfortunately, BMW club keeps the Pig for another year...
The Porsche Club is always in hot competition with the BMW Club on who will take home the “Pig” trophy. This trophy goes to the club hogging the most parking places. The Kansas City Porsche Club came up short again this year. The BMW club came out in force the trophy stays with them another year. There is always next year but we’ll need to double the number of Porsches.
We also continued the tradition of the People’s Choice car show competition. I am always working on the best way to fairly represent the various classes. I was very pleased that we had representation for every class this year. The winners are listed below. Thanks to all who

TIME TO SHOW OFF
I want to say many thanks to Mike Rehak, Agelon Jones, and Jeff Wagoner for helping me put this together. Without these guys I couldn’t have done this. I also need to recognize the docents from the Kansas City Auto Museum for volunteering to help again this year. It’s always a challenge to get all the cars parked in the right place.
This was my second time coordinating this show and I want to say thanks to everyone for being patient. We will need to bring out a lot more Porsches next year to take back the PIG!
