Now in the 21st century, it amazes me, with all of the thousands if not millions of other logos out in the world, how many non Porsche owners recognize the badge and the brand.
Post cereals’ red oval, Ford’s blue oval, Coke’s distinct font, Nike’s swoosh, and many more millions are seen around the world daily. But the Porsche shield? Somehow many unsuspected people DO know what it represents.
Often when I am out and about, I will wear one of my Porsche emblazoned jackets, shirts or caps. Once, while duti- fully standing in line at Kohl’s to return one of my wife purchases, the nearing retirement lady assisting me wanted to know if I drove my Porsche today.
