model Porsche I owned. While shopping at HyVee, the high school lad stocking the shelves cornered me for several min- utes, drilling me on everything Porsche. These unprovoked observations come from both sexes and from teens to se- niors. I gladly answer all inquiries, no matter how short or long.
What have I gleaned from these Q and A sessions? That the Porsche brand is well known, well liked, and makes for a terrific conversation starter, even if the questioner doesn’t know a 911 from a Cayenne.
So don’t wear your Porsche swag just to the next Saturday breakfast or road
event. Don the Porsche finery whether it’s dinner on the Plaza, eating pizza at the joint around the corner, or getting gas at Quik Trip. You will be pleasantly surprised how many inquisitive people you will encounter, and what great con- versations you will enjoy with them.
See you on the road, or at the mall, or......well, whereever.
