MEET A CLUB MEMBER
The KCRPCA is made up of a wonderful and diverse group of club members. We come from all walks of life and backgrounds. As Membership Chair, I always enjoy learning a little bit about everyone. In this month’s edition of the Der Sportwagen, I would like to introduce this month’s feature: very special club member Kevin Arburn.

1WHAT YEAR DID YOU JOIN THE PCA?
2017 – Shortly after I bought the 911 in November.
2WHICH PORSCHE DO YOU OWN?
1999 911 Carrera – Vesuvio Metallic – full leather grey interior.
We lived in Overland Park from 1976 – 1977, then a job transfer took us to Minneapolis for two years – then we moved back to Overland Park where we’ve been ever since. Two children: our daughter has two of the five grandkids – our son the other three.
5WHAT LINE OF WORK ARE YOU IN?
I spent about 20 years in commercial real estate lending,
then almost 20 years with Sprint
in the engineering division, doing site acquisition and wireless site development. After the 2014 purge at Sprint, I did a four year hitch with Black & Veatch doing basically
the same thing. Retired from the corporate life in late 2018.

3WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
My wife and I are from Omaha, Nebraska. We’ve not lived there since 1976, but it’s still the home state.
4TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.
Joan and I will have been married 48 years as of this coming July 12th.
