KCRPCA CARS
Je Tudas
Mine is a narrow body. I love the lines of the car. Simple things like window frames, beautiful character of the hood, and the tear drop side view mirrors are a few of the things that struck me from the outside. My engineering background drives me towards a love of analog gauges and the 993 does not disappoint.
I found my car advertised in Excellence maga- zine. The dealer had purchased the car from the original owner 8 years ago and then bought it back from the second owner because it was a car that was familiar to them. With less than 40k and the fact that the car had spent its entire life in the Paci c Northwest, I had to have this car.
I can’t get over the build quality and how this car that is now 22 years old performs. As a friend told me, these air cooled cars prefer the higher end RPM range. The look, the sound, the feel is just amazing and I cannot believe that it is sitting in my garage.
One extra plus that I was not expecting was when my wife told me she liked it better than the other two which are 7 years newer. I always knew that I married up, but didn’t realize how far up until she made that observation.

My vision of the per-
fect Porsche 911 has
always been Guards
Red with Black. I have a
couple of friends that are
very partial to the 993, and it
started to pique my interest
after listening to many at-
6s’ over the last few years. I
was hooked when I saw a fellow member’s C4S Guards Red/Black 993.
