There are good resources for nding the book speci c to your interests. It does not matter your interest; maintenance, detailing, history, air cooled vs. water cooled, racing, or general car care, there is a book for you.
There are several books by Wayne Dempsey entitled 101 Projects for (your model). In my library, the most treasured are the Porsche bibles by Adrian Streather. I have his 911 SC, 993 and 996. These are amazing and complete guides to everything relating to those models.
I also like to buy from Toadhall Books in Colorado. They are reasonably priced and have a very good selection. Frank Barrett, the owner, is a great collector of cars and books. When I’m feeling worldly I like to see what Crowood books in England has. They are another of my favorite sources.
Finally, a proli c provider of all kinds of Porsche books is Randy Lef ngwell. He is pretty amazing. This is another great book source that can be found at major Porsche events.
Do yourself a favor. Turn off your computer, nd a good book, and enjoy.
