First Fun Run of the Year
LAWRENCE
You never know about Kansas weather in the spring. Luckily it has been very temper- ate so far this year, so many of us have been enjoying our Porsches already. I’m guess- ing the nice early spring weather, and the itch to get out and drive were the reasons, but whatever it was KCRPCA’s rst fun drive of the year brought out an impressive group! And all were eager to crisscross the Kansas countryside.
The count being well over 30 we decided to split up. We formed two groups and had

Despite the challenges of the “Kansas Tri- angle”, in the end, we all pretty much blend- ed together and had a great drive. We had a brief stop in Eudora and nished up in south Lawrence at the Prairie Park.
Destination reached, we parked the cars and took a few pictures. Yes 38 is a lot of cars. Eventually it was lunch time and folks were getting hungry. We said our good byes, with many heading off into Lawrence for lunch.

Yes, 38 members came out for the rst Fun Run of the year!
volunteers lead and follow each group in case anyone needed help or got separated. We had walkie talkies and route maps in an effort to keep everyone headed in the right direction.
We gathered at the Saturday Morning breakfast spot - LePeep to start. Each group split up and toot turns heading out. You would think with maps and playing fol- low the leader we would all arrive in a nice order. Nope. The Lawrence drive has a reputation of getting people on wrong turns.
