Surprisingly, my racing yellow Cayman S arrived 6-weeks early and I took delivery on June 8, 2013. Two days later I was on KCR PCA’s fun run, followed the next day by its rst autocross... what a way to break it in!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the results that my 2014 delivers on the road, autocross and track – If there was one word to describe a Cayman, it would be ‘con dence’. The balance and responsiveness is outstanding. While there are many other Porsches that can outperform it, it will stay in the family - the 2014 has some sentimental value. My father passed away in May of 2014. Without his guidance and support in life, I know that I would have never been in the position to be driving it today. With each ride behind the wheel, it deepens my appreciation for who he was and the con dence that he too inspired.

to be released, I knew
I had to have one. So on
February of 2013 I quickly
rushed down to Aristocrat,
placing an order for one of
their initial allotment of 2,
981 Cayman S models. After doing a signi cant amount of research about vehicle weight and re- sponsiveness, I checked all the ‘go-fast’ options that kept unsprung weight to a minimum – keep- ing creature comfort items to a minimum (help- ing to keep the option price down!). Then the painful wait began.
