It has been an honor to see so many supporters attend our 2022 annual Columbia Association dinner dance with so many award winners! Truthfully it was honor to attend this great event.
A hand salute to our Lt. Joseph Petrosino Man of the Year award to Assitant Chief Chaplain Msgr. David Cassato, and to our Patrolman Phillip W. Cardillo Humanitarian Award to our very own past president of the Columbia Association and current president of the DEA Paul DiGiacomo.
Also a very special thanks to our past Columbia President John Bucalo on receiving the Columbia Association Founders Award, who served as the longest running president in Columbia history from 1988-1998. A job well done to all the award winners and the entire Columbia board salutes you.
Big congratulations to all our scholarship award winners either going into high school or entering the college world. A job well done by all. Make us proud, as I am sure you will do so for your families. It’s always a pleasure to see the big smiles on your parents’ faces with pride.
As we enter a very much well deserved beautiful summer, I want to remind everyone to please be safe and watch each other’s back out there. It is not easy doing what we do; we have to be there for all our blue family. Please save the date for our fall meeting which is September 27th, always the 4th Tuesday of the month. Please save the date for our Columbus Day Parade on Monday October 10th, 2022. Always a big day for us as we march down 5th avenue with pride being Italian Americans in law enforcement.

Hello Life Members,
From The Desk Of Our Life Member Representative
Well The Columbia Association had a great dinner
May 6th at Russo's on the Bay with over 600 people attending.
Anybody who is anybody was there. All and all, everyone was glad to be out and see old friends after the long hiatus from Covid. Besides that, the food was great and all had a good time. One of the Honorees was
Police Chaplin Monsignor David Cassato, for all he does for NYPD, and
we all got a blessing to boot - can't hurt right! We all missed
Retired Chief Joseph Esposito and wife Christine, may she rest in peace.
Life Member Representative, Philip Repaci
