Introduction










          I have always cared passionately about the customer journey whilst making an insurance claim.


          When I stepped away from Lorega in 2016 I began a project to look at how the claim cycle could be
          truncated and be improved not only via insurance mechanisms but also with the new technologies now
          available.


          The result of that project is Qlaims, linking insurance with the latest Insur-tech software which will appeal
          to both the insuring public and the insurance community alike.


          If the claim is likely to exceed £5,000 and possibly complicated, the customer will be allocated their own
          Chartered Loss Adjuster, someone of similar calibre to the insurance company’s representative, to project-
          manage the claim to successful settlement on their behalf. Cost? No, there is no cost provided they have
          paid the Qlaims insurance premium to their broker or insurer at the time of inception or renewal.


          Even with the best intentions, one of the delays in the claim process has always been the time from first
          notification of loss to the time triage, mitigation and payments on account commence.


          We have secured the UK exclusive marketing rights to sophisticated video streaming software under a long-
          term licensing deal which enables the customer to communicate directly with their Broker from their smart
          phone. This enables the customer to show you or us the damages within minutes of notification allowing
          the claim process to get under immediately.


          It removes cost, shortens the claims process and anchors the customer through the provision of first class,
          stress free claims management. Qlaims will be the first and will lead the way.
