 Original 1804 Tasting Notes
Lemon Hart Original 1804 is the perfect example of rum that shows pronounced smooth, bold flavour when mixed with cola.
“Well-balanced, velvety smooth taste. Complex notes of dark
brown sugar, English toffee, island spices (nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon), vanilla bean, cocoa, dark honey, caramel, and oak. Hints of dried fruits (especially Sultana raisins, dates, and apricots), dark roasted coffee, leather, dark bitter semi-sweet chocolate, and a nice heavily steeped tea finish.”
- Michael Booth, Master Blender
“Rich brown color. Aromas and flavors of brown butter,
dark burnt sugar, molasses coffee cake, and leather. A supple, bright, dryish medium body, peppery, with
coffee grounds, bark, and charred nuts with honey finish.
A very dry, dark, and austere rum for cocktails.”
