The Dearne Valley Landscape
Partnership (DVLP) is a five year
scheme running until June 2019,
funded by the Heritage Lottery
Fund.
The DVLP is part of Barnsley Museums,
and Barnsley Council is the lead partner
working with organisations across parts of
Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham. The
DVLP focuses on the historic buildings and
landscapes of the Dearne Valley, working
with communities to protect, preserve and
enhance the area.
The DVLP offer a huge range of workshops
and events, all of which are free of charge.
These include sessions providing the
opportunity to learn new skills in wildlife
identification, guided walks, local interest
talks, arts activities, exhibitions and training
sessions all linked to the fantastic heritage
of the Dearne Valley.
