Deposition: it is the process of laying down of sediment after its erosion.

❖ Some effects of deposition process in the shape of land:

➢ Erosion and deposition are linked processes, erosion doesn’t occur in a
place without deposition in another, and vice versa.

Delta: it is a piece of land with fan-shaped

(triangle shape) that is formed when a river
enters a large body of water such as a sea or an
ocean

Sand dunes: They are small hills of sand

found in desert or on top of a beach.
