(HAPPY) NEW YEAR
Everybody's celebrating New Year around the world
Eating, drinking, dancing
Even firework displays
The holiday is over now
A new year begins
Some resolve to do something different
To maybe try something new
Others just go about living as usual
just waiting to see what you'll do
Could we somehow stop the suffering?
Provide food, clothing, and shelter to the poor?
Could all of the nations resolve to somehow get along?
Or will we have another world war?
I predict it will be more of the same
Everybody playing the greedy game
It's really a shame
But who or what's to blame?
Who or whatever's responsible
needs to be taken out
It's a pathogen out of control
Infecting Her soul
Taking its toll
We need to take back control
