ANGELS

A disease attacked me one day
It took me by surprise

I didn’t see it coming: I never realized

It spread throughout my body
Prompting warfare everywhere

It didn’t seem to care

So I begged my General to renew my strength
He prescribed His medicine to me

And taught me how to pray
So pray I did every second I was awake

He had me put on His armour
And sent me on my way

The battles grew stronger as time went by
But I kept getting weaker and didn’t know why?

So I prayed even harder and took more medicine
Re-enforced my armour and went into fight again

It came to the point where I was too weak to fight

I tried and I tried with all my might!

Finally I pleaded for Him to send me more help
So he sent me what I needed

Two Angels he sent to me from above

They gave me care and compassion and LOVE...
So much I was consumed by HIS GRACE

Their names were Kim and Karen

And they got me back into the race
