• Participant in local VA Medical Center’s National
POW/MIA Recognition Day;

• Participant in the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center
veteran’s awards ceremonies;

• Speaker for the Commemorate of the 50th anniversary
of the Vietnam War;

• Assists veterans with finding employment, housing
and medical care;

• Correspond with government officials concerning
veteran’s rights and benefits;

• Attend meetings with veteran’s groups and
government officials to lobby for veteran’s
benefits.
