Task: Knock and Announce Violation
Hudson v. Michigan, 547 U.S. 586 (2006).
Evidence seized in a search where the knock and announce rule
was violated will not be excluded in the criminal prosecution of the
subject.
Officers violating the knock and announce rule are still subject to
civil suit or departmental discipline.
