       Sitar as well as guitar is a musical instrument that uses strings as a source of sound. The sitar can
       produce di erent notes by pressing certain parts of the string as it is plucked. The tone produced with
       the simplest pattern is called the fundamental tone, then successively the wave pattern that is
       formed produces the 1st overtone, the 2nd overtone, the 3rd overtone and so on. Read carefully the
       description of the notes on the strings.
