Social Action Projects
Department of Governance and Public Policy (G&PP) initiated two-credit hour community
building and welfare-oriented program, “Social Action Project”. Under the program,
students have to work in teams to design a social project to be executed in the community
for the citizens and share their experience with their class fellows and teacher. Following
are the projects initiated by the students:

 NUML Energy Conservation Club (NECC)
 Aqua – The Pure SMALL
 Recycling of Wasted Food
 Road Safety Awareness ACTIONS,
 NUML Reading Club
 Making Minors Majors TIMES A LOT OF
 Malnutrition in Slum Chilren
 3-P’s (Preserve, Prevent, Promote) PEOPLE,
 Transawareness Program
 NUML Eco-Club EQUALS BIG
 Road Safety Awareness
 URAAN (…educating slum children) CHANGE
 Clean Away
 Spreading Smiles Across the Miles
 Strengthening Sanitation Saviors
