Seminar on “The Floods of 2022 and the Climate Crisis’
The ‘Department of International Relations’ organized a seminar, ‘The Floods of 2022
and the Climate Crisis’; guest speaker was Dr. Imran Saqib Khalid, Director
Governance and Policy – World Wild Fund. The event was held on October 21, 2022
at Iqbal Hall of Ibn-e-Rushd Block.
Visit to Climate Energy and Water
Research Institute (CEWRI)
Students of the ‘Governance and Public Policy’
(G&PP) Department visited the ‘Climate
Energy and Water Resource Institute’ of
“Pakistan Agriculture Research Council”
(PARC) to meet Director Mr. Bashir Ahmed - a
professional hydrologist. He discussed testing
of new technologies at selected farmer fields
of National Agriculture and Research Center
(NARC) and other research centers all over the
country i.e. Gilgit (Skardu), Balochistan (Thar),
Bahawalpur, Karachi and Dera Ismail Khan.
