Rejoice, He is Born!

                                                                                          Santhi Mathews
                                                                                             Roll No. 392

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is born - a reason to rejoice. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

“For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us.” (Luke

2:10-11) “And the Angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold I bring you

good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is

born this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord.’”

We witness the angels rejoicing and singing on the night of Jesus’

birth. Mary, Jesus’ mother, said, “My spirit hath rejoiced in God my

            Savior.”

Rejoicing is the will of God for us in Jesus Christ, our redeemer, who

saved us from the pit of sins so that we might have eternal life. These

days, loneliness, failure, rejection, uncertainty, and judgment are top

fears that hold people back in life. Stress, anxiety, or overwhelming

emotions can make the present moment seem frightening. Daily

hassles have contributed to increased stress, which is not the will of

God Almighty for us. Our Lord always wants us to rejoice in His name.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, present ourselves to God” (Philippians 4:6-

7). Heaven is what we long for after our earthly life, the reason for this

season, enabling us to rejoice ultimately. Simply conversing with God

brings peace and joy. No matter the circumstances, choose to rejoice.

Pray continually. Give thanks in all circumstances. Let us trust God’s

assurance, count our blessings, and strengthen good relationships.

Cultivating positive emotions maintains social connections. Let’s focus
