A. Summary of the findings and recommendation on Area IV (Support to Students) of the Self-
survey:

STRENGTHS

1. The Office of the Student Affairs conducts regular evaluation and monitoring on the
effectiveness of student services.
2. The student housing and residential services are well monitored.

3. A tracer study was done to document the performance of graduates.
4. Students are fully aware of different services offered by the Office of Student Affairs.

5. The Dental services in the university is gender sensitive.

AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT
1. The councilor-student ratio does not meet the CHED requirement of 1:1000.

2. Profiles of students in the university guidance office is not updated.
3. Activities on economic enterprise development is limited.

4. Counseling services do not consider cultural differences as well as those students with
special needs.
