CAMP EVALUATIONS
CAMP AUDIT
Our camp audit is a set of guidelines from our Risk Department to ensure safety guidelines are being followed during the camp day. A visitor will come out to evaluate whether these guidelines are being met. Camp leadership will do an internal audit to ensure compliance.
These are the seven categories:
1. Quality and Cleanliness – includes organization and appropriate signage as well as areas being kept clean and free of trash.
2. Customer Service and Communications- staff members in uniform and appropriately supervising, as well as being welcoming to parents and other staff members, and daily communication to families.
3. Curriculum Adherence- includes activities being engaging and following the planned curriculum, transitions and character values Staffing- leadership staff on site, ratios, payroll management as well as appropriately positioned in all areas
4. Health & Safety- emergency contacts and procedures in place and available for all staff members, extra forms in staff’s binder (accident/incident), 30-minute face count tracking up to date, and first aid kit for staff members stocked and medications kept securely or on the staff member.
5. Staff Member Files- certifications for specialties and first aid and CPR
6. Children’s Information- staff member has information about the campers (allergies, medications, special needs, authorized to be photographed), epipens/inhalers with staff member, and authorized pick up available.
LISTEN 360
Listen360 is a tool used to collect feedback from our camp families. It consists of a survey asking the parent(s) to rate us 1-10 and offering an option to leave comments as well. This gives directors an opportunity to share the feedback with staff members where they are doing well and where changes need to be made.
