What are you doing today?
I manage a group of people in the closing department of a title company called Radiant Title Insurance.
What impact did First Tee have on your life?
Wow I could say so much. First Tee – Tampa Bay not only changed the course of my life, but it inspired me to be the best person I can. I have a son now and I bring so much of the Nine Core Values into parenthood. Life after college is harder than anyone tells you.... Moving, starting a job, new people, leaving a life that was comfortable. If I didn’t have the skillset from First Tee, none of my success in the adult world would have been possible. I think about the skills I learned from First Tee – Tampa Bay every single day. I get to reminisce on some of the coolest trips of my life and constantly reconnect with participants from the past.
What is your favorite memory from your First Tee – Tampa Bay experience?
The PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach tops it all. The trip, the people and the atmosphere made it one of the most talked about moments of my life.
Is there a specific core value or life skill that you learned which has helped you in life?
Perseverance- through surgeries, college classes,
moving, new jobs and now parenthood...it is the
greatest core value in my opinion. There is nothing you can’t do without a little perseverance.
I think about my skill set I learned from First Tee every single day.
