Jack is another of our students who has had a busy but exciting time recently. Jack attends a college in Guangdong Province and recently took a special graduation trip. He tells us that these trips take place before the senior year. Jack and his class traveled to a town on the coast. Despite a long 8 hour bus ride, Dan was excited to arrive at their destination, where he stayed in a hotel for the first time ever! One day of the trip was spent exploring a native village where the students were shown traditional rites of passage and ways of life. Jack was not too keen on the cobra whose venom, they were told, would cure arthritis.
