Lockdown Covid is here, we’re in a pandemic.

Home schooling has taught me I’m not academic.

Nothing is open, we’re in full lockdown.

No cinemas or restaurants are open in town.

Hairdressers can’t work we must social distance.

Not seeing friends and family is a rubbish existence.

PANDEMIC Hurray for insta, Snap, FaceTime and Zoom.

But it’s still not the same as being in the same room.

With pool days, movies and recipes to bake.

It says on the news that lockdown is easing.

But the two metre rule is so displeasing.

Queuing outside Primark wearing a mask.

It’s starting to feel like a big ask.

If I said this last year I’d get called a fool.

But I just can’t wait to get back to school.
