 Resources for Summer Music Lesson Two Activity: Let’s Take a Walk
1. Hold your baby and walk them around the room in time with the pulse.
2. Experiment with moving quickly, slowly, loudly and quietly.

Let's take a walk,
Take a walk, take a walk,
And see what we can see there.
Other Ideas!
Look through a picture book with your baby. Point to the pictures and improvise four beat rhythmic statements about them. E.g.
I can see a little fairy. Look there's a big tree.
I like the forest.
Splitter splatter raindrops. I like the rain.
There's a dragon in the water.
Gently tap the rhythm on your baby as you make the four beat statements.
