    I have instruments, yes I do,
I have instruments hidden away. I have instruments, yes I do,
But which one will I play?
  1. Have some percussion instruments hidden in your sparkly bag. Sing the song then play one of the instruments inside the bag. Reveal the instrument, name it, play it again and hand it to a baby ready to use in the next exercise. Repeat with two or three other instruments and then hand instruments to all the children that do not have one yet.
  1. Reveal a percussion instrument from your sparkly bag. Play it so the children can hear the sound it makes, then teach the children its name. Repeat with a different percussion instrument. Hide the instruments inside your sparkly bag and sing the song on your own. When you have finished singing, play one of the instruments inside your bag. The children must guess which instrument was played. If the children have trouble deciding which instrument it is, ask one or two of them to feel the instrument and guess again.

2. As above only you encourage the children to join in with the singing.

4. As above only you choose a child to be the leader and choose an instrument. They can sing solo or with the group.

If you're happy and you know it play up high/down low/soft/loud/slow/fast...
   1. The group play their percussion instruments to the pulse, as instructed by the lyrics. You play along on percussion with them to model what they should be doing. Give an instrument to each adult when possible.
2. Once you have sung through and played percussion for each of the verses, repeat the song using your melodic instrument to accompany.
NB: Babies won't be able to play up high or down low so leave out these verses.
  Same as for babies except you include playing up high and down low.
  Same as for toddlers except you regularly encourage the children to watch and listen carefully to your percussion instrument so they can play in time with you.
