7. Act out the story

8. Moving around the room: ‘Having Fun at the Beach’ performed by The Wiggles
Ask four volunteers to suggest activities that can be done at the beach (e.g. swimming, building sandcastles, surfing, jumping in the waves, collecting shells, fishing, eating fish and chips and sleeping in the sun etc.). Play the music and act out performing the suggested activities one by one. You then lead the children in performing your own activity ideas.
