1. Tune the Children’s Ukuleles as they Arrive (5-10 mins MAX)
Please see instructions in lesson plan 1.
2. Welcome (6 mins): ‘Hello, Hello’ written by Janice Buckner
Welcome the children as usual and remind them that they should always keep their ukuleles under their chairs unless you ask them to take them out. Sing the first two verses of ‘Hello, Hello’ with the children and play along on your ukulele.

“Now, I want you to all sing my part and I’m going to say your part. So you’re all going to sing ‘Your Name Sparkles say hello’ and I’m going to reply ‘hello’. Let’s give it a try!”
Lucy (insert your name) Sparkles say “hello” (hello), Lucy (insert your name) Sparkles say “hello” (hello), Lucy (insert your name) Sparkles say “hello” (hello), It’s music time.
‘Hello Everyone’
You sing “hello everyone”.
The children respond, “hello Your Name Sparkles”.
