Lesson Plan
1. Warm-up: ‘Shake Your Sillies Out’ performed by The Wiggles See summer lesson one. Make sure to use lots of energy!

2. Stretching and curling: Moody Cat See summer lesson one.
* Running time approx. 3 mins.
3. Travel to Danceland: ‘Indiana Jones (Main Theme)’ performed by Richard Hayman & The Philharmonic Rock Orchestra

4. Introduce the theme: ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ written by Anne Porter Without speaking, get the children into a circle by singing ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ as in summer lesson one.
“Can anyone remember what we learnt about last week?” Ask a child to suggest something that they do in the morning to get ready for the day (e.g. make the bed, have breakfast, clean teeth, wash face, get dressed etc.). The chosen child then mimes doing that activity and the rest of the group copies. Repeat several times.

5. Fine motor skills: ‘Chop, Chop’ (traditional) See summer lesson ten.
* Running time approx. 2 mins.
6. Choreographed dance: ‘Wah Hoo Hey, I'm Combing My Hair Today’ performed by The Wiggles

NB: You can also perform the choreographed dance ‘Getting Dressed’ by Wayne Potash at the end of the lesson if you have extra time.
