PREFACE

Listening is a fundamental skill in language acquisition, yet it often
receives less attention than other language skills in non-English education

programs. With this in mind, we have developed Basic Listening Skills for
Non-English Education Programs, a supplementary eBook designed to
address the gap in accessible and effective listening materials.

This eBook is created with the specific goal of helping learners improve

their listening skills in an engaging and practical manner. It is structured to
support students in non-English education settings by offering clear

guidance, exercises, and strategies tailored to their unique needs. Through
carefully curated listening activities, learners can build the confidence and

skills necessary to comprehend spoken English more effectively.

We are profoundly grateful to Basis Informasi Penelitian dan Pengabdian

kepada Masyarakat (BIMA), Kemendikbudristek for providing the funding
and support to make this project a reality. Their commitment to advancing

educational research and development has been instrumental in bringing this
            work to life.

This eBook also reflects the insights and contributions of educators,

researchers, and students whose feedback has been invaluable throughout
its creation. We hope that this resource will serve not only as a practical
tool for improving listening skills but also as an inspiration for educators

seeking innovative ways to enhance language learning.

It is our sincere hope that this eBook helps both teachers and students
in their journey toward achieving listening proficiency, and that it
contributes to the overall success of non-English education programs.
