the club was established over 1500 Dachshunds of di erent variet- ies were registered with the Lithuanian Kennel Club. Most of them were bred in Lithuania. At present, Lithuanian breeders are using in their breeding programs dogs imported from Argentina, Spain, Ger- many, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, Romania, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Italy and Czech Republic.
The Lithuanian Dachshund Lovers Club annually organizes Dachs- hunds Club shows where the Club Winner title is awarded. The ma- jority of the club members is also interested to maintain the work- ing qualities of their dogs. Each year we hold not less than four FT tests or contests, where Lithuanian Dachshunds take part very ac- tively. The club also organizes training in the forests or artificial holes, with the idea to encourage Lithuanian breeders to focus not only on the exterior, but also on the working instincts of Dachs- hunds. This year Lithuanian Dachshund Lovers Club has planned even six field trials and two contests, with experienced internation- al judges. Lithuania is proud of its huge and beautiful forests – you all are welcome to our country for hunting tests or the Lithuanian Dachshund Lovers Club dog shows!

Lithuanian TOP Dachshunds
Since 2013, the club selects Lithuanian TOP Dachshunds. For these titles, the results of the shows and the points for working certificates, which the dogs obtained during one year, are summed up.
