me with my plan. How much would I have loved to give her some time to settle and let her lay down on the side and start again little later, but 90 minutes are 90 min- utes and they can run very fast in situations like this. Thanks to the GPS I was picked up and informed that I managed a long distance but... sadly ran out of time. Tired, but very satisfied I met the other participants. Luckily there is no time limit in practice and several re- coveries of wounded game took much longer than the time given here.
Now back to the “Hunters Hotel” and we celebrated
the dinner in front of richly covered tables with borsch,
a lot of salad and even more elk and wild boar venison.
Very kind words from the judges and participants, and special thanks to the organizers: the President of the Russian Hunting Dog Feder- ation and Vice President of the Russian Dachshund Club Mrs Ekater- ina Domogatskaya, Mr Maxim Rusakov, Mr Artyom Galkin and Mrs Olga Morozova. The evening ended in the best company, and due to the hearty atmosphere, it was no surprise that new plans for new trials were made. For my part I would say a big thank you to all in- volved and... my original Russian trial pine tree is now growing in our garden!
