 Housekeeping
Help!
There’s a monkey in the house!
To prevent monkeys entering your house, close all windows and doors, including bathroom windows when monkeys are spotted in the vicinity or when no one is at home.
According to Nparks’s advisory, if monkeys enter your house:
1. Stop whatever you are doing immediately
2. Remain calm and quiet. Do not make sudden movement. Do not maintain direct eye contact with the monkey
3. Look for an exit for the monkeys.
4. Without concerning the monkeys, keep hitting the ground with a stick OR direct a strong jet of water at the monkey to lead them towards the exit.
5. Alternatively, move to a safe place and wait for the monkey to leave.
6. Do not try to hit the monkeys.
7. If you have a child with you, put him/her on your shoulders. This will increase your perceived size, which could deter the monkeys from approaching you and your child.

   Kew Cats
Currently, there is no licensing regulation for small animals such as pet cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chincillas, gerbils, hamsters.
However, pet owners could opt for microchipping and register the number with AVS for your small pets.
It is strongly advised to keep your cat in-door to ensure the well-being of the pet, prevent loss or accident.
