CARE GUIDE
FRONT OF HOUSE CLEANING
Warings Furniture will not be held liable for its wooden table top surface should it be proven that
this type of cleaning process and product has been used and that it’s recommended cleaning
instructions are not adhered to.
Warings Furniture recommends that all wooden table tops be cleaned with Relay Spray as a
safe product to use (www.relayspray.com)
Never leave any table top uncleaned after service as this will eat into any wood table top
surface.
Warings Furniture uses AC Lacquer whic passes FIRA Standard 6250 and is suitable for 80°C
wet heat and 100°C dry heat.
CARE OF POLISHED WOODEN TABLE TOPS
All our solid wooden table tops are polished with an acid catalyst (AC) lacquer (FIRA Report
BS6250) to withstand 80 degrees centigrade wet heat and 100 degrees centigrade dry heat. To
ensure your tops are protected against damage please follow the points below: -
1. Please make sure that under no circumstances any kind of polish, either commercial or
household, is applied to your tops. All tops should be cleaned with a damp cloth using a
very mild washing up liquid. No abrasive should be applied to the tabletop.
2. Heavy objects with sharp edges must not be placed onto the top without adequate
protection otherwise scratches may occur.
3. We strongly recommend that any water, wine or anything acidic is not to be left on the
table tops for any length of time, as this will eat into the applied lacquer.
4. Do not leave tabletops in direct sunlight or damp conditions.
5. We would always recommend some kind of slight barrier between the surface and any
hot item, which is placed on the top.
