Biscuit Joint Panel Fixing:
MDF Panels to have preferred
biscuit joint fixing method to
prevent bowing. All remaining
joints filled with 2 part quick
drying filler and sanded to flush
and flat finish.
N.B: 2 Part quick drying filler
must be used in all area’s of
application.

Scaffolding positions:
All contractors scaffolding to leave a
working minimum distance of 500mm.
Graphic fitters can supply and use
their own but shared contractors
scaffold is preferable in order to save
time.

Panel Movement Issues:
See example of incorrectly
finished panels, movement
and bowing can occur after
graphics are fitted and
finished. Biscuit joints reduce
this effect on all elevations.
Ripple in graphic shown
here has been caused by
joins between MDF boards.
The example shown has
occured three months post-
install due to the MDF
boards becoming loose
beneath the wallcovering.
This can be prevented by
screwing MDF boards in
place.
