Rinsanga Leivang

I joined this school in 2014, when I was in 7th grade, although I was already familiar with
the place since 2011, since my sister studied here too. I’ll never forget the memories I made
here. Although they come in a mix of stuff that I admire and those that I’d rather sweep under
the rug , I really don’t regret any experience that I made here. Here, I made countless
amounts of friends. Friends that I would never forget. I still remember when I first joined
Penryn dorm and was roommates with Ishan. We had beef in the beginning, but we slowly got over
it. I remember making friends with Orion, Aydn, Ou, Shanjana and Tenzin. Life was really
simple back then. However, It wasn’t until 8th grade that Rigjey, Cyra and Gakhael joined and
we became best friends. That was one of my favourite years of my time here. Later, Haeun
joined and we became really good friends. I’ll never forget the moments we shared together.
All of the outings we had. All of the picnics we organized. Later Pully and Keyah joined, and
I’ll never forget the remarkable bond we had with each other. It made me less fearful of
making new friends, which I;m pretty sure I’ll take with me to college. I’ll remember all the
teachers here that helped me understand my purpose in this world, specifically my art
teachers. Mr. Sarthak for showing me the way, and Mr. Pike for helping me grow. I’ll never be
where I am now if it weren’t for them. I wouldn’t have been anywhere if it weren’t for Kodi.
Despite the overpriced, arrogant, and dishonest yeast infection that is this school today, I
wouldn’t want to have spent my golden years anywhere else but at Kodi.
The last two years in KIS have made all the difference. I am grateful to all my teachers.
I’ll never forget that time in 7th grade when I was with Tenzin in the Ganga art class, and Thank you for emboldening me. Coach Ambrose pushed me up in studies through games.
she was confidently projecting the music video for Iggy azalea’s ‘Work’ when she was giving a Mr Joel raised my hopes and self esteem whenever I felt low.Ms Priscilla, you are a teacher
lap dance to a truck driver, judging me for not knowing who she was.I’ll never forget when who can make learning fun. Ms Saji and the Theos polished certain rough surfaces in me.
Shanjana and I were paired for P.E class to kick a football, when we could barely even walk. You helped me see that I can be more. It was a very tough year but you helped me get

and saying “TO VOTE IS TO EXIST” way too many times. I’ll never forget making fun of Pema for
nishit, nitesh, vihaan, jigme for being the best juniors.Words can't describe how lucky i am
her obsession over “Chinese boys”. I’ll never forget when Pully was cheering for Woodstock in
to have you guys. I will always treasure the memories i made with each one of yall. It has
KBL . I’ll never forget sitting in the security bunk with Keyah, ranting about how all of our only been 7 months since Rohith, Kaishu and Thove became the three idiots. I know that
friends are in relationships. I’ll always keep these memories with me wherever I go. Even you always got my back, no matter what. kaishu , this is only for you. Anata wa watashi ga
though we couldn’t end this era in a proper manner, at least I can say I was in the only batch imamade atta naka de mottomo yōchina hitodesu. ‘Watashi wa anata o motte iru koto wa

daisuki’. Thove, you are the most mature person i've ever seen in my life. Thank you for
being the uncle in our group. The face you make during horror movies is the funniest
thing. Thank you for helping me make the right decisions in life. I really hope we can watch
movies on your bed with kaishu and the boys. Sreenivash, I'm really gonna miss watching
movies with you during class.you are one of the dumbest people I've ever met. Thank you
for motivating me. I would also say you are one of the reasons I graduated. Thank you
Kaishu, Thove and Sreenivash for cooking noodles for me everytime.

My capabilities in the field of basketball, music and academics took a hike in the
mountains of kodaikanal. Bartlette east taught me coexistence and the ups and downs of
life and to face storms. Started with volleyball and a Uturn landed me in the basketball
team which became my addiction.. My teachers, batchmates and some friends in
particular tore out the ‘wear and tear’ in me. KIS gave me guts to face the world. Thank
you KIS for teaching me friendship, understanding, community, kindness and unity
