Benny buzzed happily, as if he
understood, and flew off deep into
the garden.
Lily watched and heard everything
Fern had said to Benny, "That was
amazing, Fern," she said. "How did
you learn to talk to bees?"
Fern smiled. "It's a skill I learned
over time. The more time you spend
in nature and with the creatures that
inhabit it, the more you begin to
understand them. It's all about
respect and connection."
