LANSDOWNE LADIES LUNCH





          On  Friday  4th  of  October,  188  Lansdowne   being won.  In total, the raffle raised €16680
          Ladies  gathered  in  the  Clubhouse  for  the   for the Capuchin Day Centre, a sum that will
          annual  Ladies  Lunch.  Starting  with  a  drinks   make  a  serious  and  practical  difference  to
          reception  kindly  sponsored  by  Coman’s,  the   their daily work.

          three-course meal.                 We  would  like  to  thank  all  our  sponsors,
                                             volunteers,  guests,  donor  and  contributors
          Deirdre  McDermott  was  the  effervescent   with special thanks to the committee:
          MC  on  the  day  and  got  things  started  by
          introducing  our  2019-20  President  (and  her   Caroline Coyle
          brother!) Derry Shaw. Derry briefly welcomed   Catherine Brady Walsh
          the guests before being summarily dismissed   Deirdre McDermott
          by  Deirdre.  Maggie  Shaw  then  took  to  mic   Derry Shaw
          to outline the great work done by this year’s   Liz Goode
          chosen charity, The Capuchin Day Centre for   Maggie Shaw

          After  lunch,  guest  speaker  Fiona  Looney
          entertained  the  guests,  regaling  them  with
          tales from her career to date. After the meal,
          the raffle took place with some fantastic prizes
