Phuong had a soft bitting her low lip, looked at Nguyen with
little eyes, she said:

" Yes... I thought of you... "

" For what..."

Phuong looked out of the window truck, hiding her thinking and
laugh.

" For anything about you and your friends. " then she started at
Nguyen, she asked:

" How are your friend now? "

"Who? "

" The one, who sent you a letter. "

" You mentioned about Long, don't him? "

Phuong nodded.

" Yes..."

" Long was my close friend. "

" Do you have a lot of soldier friends? " Phuong asked.

" Yes, all of my friends were soldiers in arm forces." Nguyen
pause, looked at Phuong he added:

" Half of them died on the battlefield. Few of them had good
luck. They lost a part of their body or wounded to be the veterans
disabled soldiers. They had discharged to live with their families with
a little veteran policy. It was not enough to help their families. Some
of them have been living on the battlefield, or fight on the front line
as Mr. Long now. They had a great sacrifice of their lives for freedom
and country !"
