Tom looked at Jimmy and shook his head.

"W...o...w... She was strong like an American girl!" Tom said.

"But money can change her mind, and she will be soft," Jimmy
said.

"Jimmy. You had thought wrong about her...! She was
different...!"

"How did you know about her?" In a sharp voice, Jimmy asked.

Tom looked around and shook his shoulders.

"I had been living in Vietnam before you two year. I Came in
here every weekend and watching her. Colonel Dennis fell in love
with her but nothing...!" Tom said.

"She was a Dennis' lover " Jimmy asked.

Tom shook his head.

"Before I thought but not now...! Dennis had gentle to her; he
wishes to be... but she didn't." Tom replied.

"How could you read their minds, and know about these
things?"

Tom looked at Jimmy, and laugh.

"You are a foolish man! Dennis was my commander; I worked
close him for a long time. I knew these things because I joined him to
come here."

Jimmy cast his eyes around the bar room and looked at Tom.

"Is Dennis here now?" Jimmy asked.

"No... He didn't come here anymore. After he invited his
Vietnamese friend come here about four months ago. A Vietnamese
