Dingoes

                                                      By: Esther

Do you know what a dingo is? If you have not, read this paper to
learn about it. Even if you do know what they are, you can learn new
things about dingoes. You can learn about their appearance, what

sounds they make, how often they make those sounds, and what they
        eat!

These canines can be an assortment of colors, but they are most
well known for their reddish fur and white marks. Their white marks
are usually found on their tails, feet, and bellies. However, like I said

above, they come in various colors. For instance, they could be yellow.
They can also be completely black or white! Their color is not their only

feature. They have wide heads, and their ears are always pointed up.
Dingoes are carnivores. They mostly eat farm animals, like sheep.

They also eat kangaroos. Farmers do not like them because they eat
farm animals, but dingoes also help the farmers. Dingoes eat pests, like
rabbits. Usually, dingoes hunt by going for the victim’s throat, and for

larger animals, they prefer to hunt in packs.
Dingoes do not really bark. More often, they growl, howl, and

whimper. Sometimes dingoes growl to defend themselves, but they do
not normally do it for that reason. Instead, they growl for dominance
most of the time. When they howl, they howl to find their pack or keep

        unwanted animals away.
I learned a lot about dingoes. Dingoes are amazing animals of

Australia. I hope you learned as much information about dingoes as I
did when you read my paper. And for whatever reason you read this
paper, I hope you found it immensely helpful!
