13. ELECTRIC LOCO SHED/KAZIPET

SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

 For improvement of Greenery area inside the shed premises,
around 2400 sq feet area is converted into Garden.

 50 no’s Smart energy meters provided in shed to measure energy
consumption on line.

 Modification of Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) in VCB.

 Provision of in Built pressure gauge to check & trouble shoot in
the cases of DJ feedback fail/VCB stuck off/VCB Stuck on and
during schedule maintenance.

 First ELS in SCRly devoloped Power module test kit for Medha
Traction Converter in-house to test the all sub equipment of
power module.

 In house development of Racks to utilize vertical space inside
section rooms and proper material stocking.

 2 no’s newly received M&P equipments are installed( Abro
dynamic balancing machine & TFP oil filtration plant of Nach
make)

 No staff are overdue for Refresher course(SSE:15, Tech:21)

 Imparting of training to diesel shed staff to improve the
maintenance activities in WAG7 during 2022-23 is 70 staff

 Existing 21 Conventional Relay based WAG7 locos are
Converted into Micro processer Based control system of V3

version.

 12 conventional locos are provided with DPWCS system of
M/s.LWT make
