arable from the Father. Since the Father was Spirit and Word, He was able to beget Word. He made that Word flesh in the womb of the virgin Mary. By means of this incarnation. He became Emmanuel: meaning God, the Spirit, was visibly seen in the flesh (His body).
^Forthe blood is the life" of the flesh (Deuteronomy 12:23). The Spirit isthelifeofboththebloodandtheflesh(Genesis 4:10).Adeadbodyis buried with its blood in the grave. In like manner, the flesh and blood (soul) of Christ was in the grave for three days and nights. If the blood of an ani
mal is shed, it must be buried and covered with dust, for the blood is the life of its flesh. The blood sustains life. Therefore, God said to the children of Israel, "Yeshall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh isthebloodthereof. Whosoevereatethitshallbecutoff" (Leviticus17T3- 14).
The Apostle Paul said, "There is one body and one Spirit..one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" (Ephesians 4:4-6). The Apostles did not teach two or three gods or even one God in three persons. They taught one God in one person. TheApostlesdidnotseparatetheFatherfromtheSon,northeSon from the Father. Jesus did not teach us that He had independent life. Instead, He plainly declared that His life was His Father. God, the Father, cannot live without the Word and the Son cannot live without the Father.
(See John 6:57, 63; 1:1-18; 3:13; 5:21-26.)
Oneness believers firmly declare that the only true God, the Father even the Son of the true God are inseparable; God was manifested in the flesh and
blood of Himself. God, like man, has two aspects: inner and outer nature. The inner aspect is God the Father, and the outer aspect is the Son, Christ Jesus, the flesh and blood of God, the express image of His person. (See Isaiah 59:16,17; Isaiah 8:13,14; John 2:19-21; Jeremiah 25:30; I Peter 2:4-8.) Whatweseeinthenaturalstructureofman, weseeinGod. Manisspirit, flesh, and blood; in the same manner, God is Spirit, and has flesh, and blood. Ofatruth,theFatherisEnunanuel.(SeeIsaiah42:13;Hosea2:16.) Aclose look at John 1:1-14 and John 3:13 reveals Jesus, Immanuel, the Son, is omnipresent in the Father. (See also Deuteronomy 32:39-40; Psalm 139:7- 12.)
The Bible proves that God the Father, has come with His own flesh and blood. Acts20:28reads,"Takeheedthereforeuntoyourselves,andtoallthe flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood." God is one. HecannotbeoutsideofHisfleshandblood.Clearly,Godisincarnat-
