 ]ES ·s THE ULTIMATE OL0GY.
In logic, there is a law of contradiction that says, "'A' cannot be '.-\' and 'non-A' at the same time". This means that in
order to be a contradiction, one statement has to subtract from the
other.
For example, if l\fark said that they were supposed to baptize and Luke said they were 110I supposed to baptize, that would be a contradiction. l\Iatthew, Mark, Luke and John don't contradict each other; they just state things from a different perspective and express themseh-es differently tl1an tl1.e other. Out of tl1.e four verses that point to tl1.e so-called "great commission", the one in the book of Matthew is most popular among Trinitarians. They usually quote it to promote their belief in the tli.ree person doctrine of the trinity.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father. and of the Son and of the Holry Ghost·
