When you don't study it the right way, you end up belie,·i.ng a lot o
dumb stuff because of eisegesis and neology.
Some things that people belie,·e are wrong but onl:, amount to innocent misunderstandings. For example, a lot of peopl assume that Adam and Eve ate an apple\\ hen the Bible doesn't u that word; it just says "fruit of the tree". _-\lso, you hear people say all the time that "Hallelujah" is the highest praise, but i.n the Bibi "Hallelujah" is not the highest praise. "Hallelujah" is a corrunand to praise. It's actually the English transliteration of the Hebrew expression "haleluYah", meaning, "Praise Jah," "Praise Jah, you people or praise ye Jehovah."
Now, if I say to you, "Praise the Lord!" and ,·ou answer back, "Hallelujah!", all you did was take what I said i.n English and said it back to me in Hebrew. You didn't do what I said; you just translated what I said and repeated it back to me. I don't have a problem with people using "Hallelujah" as praise, but the Bible sa) s in Nehemiah 9:5 that his glorious name is exalted above all blessi.ng and praise. That means that the greatest utterance that can cone out of your mouth is not "Hallelujah". You can't pray for nobody in "Hallelujah". You can't heal the sick in "Hallelujah", you can't baptize nobody in "Hallelujah" and you can't work no miracles in "Hallelujah". The greatest utterance that can come out of your
