Matthew wrote to the Jews and presented Christ as the king; Mark wrote to the Romans and presented Christ as the servant. Luke wrote to the Greeks and presented Christ as the man; John wrote to the world and
presented Christ as God. Matthew told you what Jesus taught, Mark told you what Jesus wrought, Luke told you what Jesus brought and John told you what Jesus thought, but none of them told you how to be born again.
Matthew said tl1at Jesus was the promised savior, Mark said he was a powerful savior, Luke said he was a perfect savior, John said he is a personal savior, but none of them told you how to get the savior. The book of Acts explains how to get the savior and be born again:
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one ofyou in the name offesus Chri.st for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift ofthe Holy Ghost.
