The Identity of Jesus Christ
Daniel saw In a vision one like the Son of man hundreds of years before Christ was born. He witnessed, "1 saw in the night visions, and, behold,
one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him" (Daniel 7:13). Like Daniel, the other prophets who saw God in visions apparently saw a form by which God manifested
Himself. Nevertheless, the Scriptures repeatedly at test that no one can see or has ever seen God, for
He is Spirit-invisible and intangible.
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are therefore
simply descriptive terms of the invisible God, and not names of three divine figures. As Father, God exists from eternity. To save mankind. He was manifested In the flesh His Word was made flesh. Thus Jesus Christ was Emmanuel, the one God. The flesh was the Son. The Son was life-giving flesh because of
the Father (deity) in Him (John 6:57).
The title of Holy Spirit refers to the One God
Himself, who is Spirit (John 4:24). It refers to God in spiritual action. Therefore we can say that the Holy Spirit is the breath of the Father that imparts life (Genesis 2:7; Job 32:8; 33:4; John 20:22). God gives a portion of His Spirit (holy breath) to us. The Bible says that God pours out His Spirit, thus showing that
the Holy Spirit is not a separate person from God. Therefore, the..One God has revealed Himself in three different ways-as Father, Word (the Son),
and Holy Spirit. He is the indivisible, only God and 18
